October Baby is going back on the road for another delivery. Next stop? Missouri as part of the 2018 St. Lou Fringe!

Last year, I had the honor of taking my show to my hometown in Texas to perform as part of the 2017 Houston Fringe Festival. I remember being on the plane returning to LA thinking, “Man, it would be great to share the show with Tom’s side of the family.” So, in January, I started doing some research. Low and behold, not only did St. Louis offer a Fringe, but applications were opening a few days later. But, every Fringe operates differently. And for St. Louis, it truly was luck of the draw. They had more than 70 shows enter a lottery for one of 18 “open spots” to take part in this year’s festival. On April 14, I tuned in to Facebook Live for the big drawing, and yours truly captured the #8 spot (which just so happens to be my favorite number). Good sign!

So, in mid-August, the entire fam – me, Tom and the girls – are headed to his hometown to share this hilarious, yet poignant story with his family and friends. Have to admit…performing the “conception” scene in front of my in-laws is going to be a blog-worthy experience in and of itself.

My show dates are Friday, 8/17 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8/18 at 9:30 p.m. and Sunday, 8/19 at 6 p.m. All performances will be in the intimate 40-seat “Studio” space at the Kranzberg Art Center, located at 501 N. Grand. Tickets will be $15 each and will go on sale in mid-July.

C’mon on St. Louis. I’m counting on you to come have some October fun with me!
